California Pizza Kitchen At Ft. Lauderdale

So I’ve noticed with the different managers they rotate you end up getting different wait service. I’ve been going here with my kids for 15 years, it’s not great, but it’s not bad. We come here because we know the menu the food is ok, it’s never busy so we get our corner table always. If I was to advice on what to do to improve here you go1. Hire people who are customer service friendly2. Don’t hire because you are desperate for wait staff3. Wait staff should always be “friendly” and happy to see you. Tell them to smile?So really it’s all about customer service. The food is fine.

We decided to go here to check it out. After having the frozen pizza a million times I finally had to try the real thing. Let me tell you it’s 10000 times better. I’d highly recommend this place! The food was amazing and fresh! We went for happy hour and got a great deal on the drinks and apps. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and the store was clean. They give you bread and this oil and it’s amazing. We got seated right away and had our first course within minutes after ordering. It’s definitely a great place for lunch and dinner! I’d recommend stopping by and checking it out for your safe!

The service wasn't the best. The waitress was slow in filling our drinks and we had to ask her a few times. She brought us the wrong pizza's placed them on our table. I called her over to tell her they weren't what we ordered she took from our table and walked around the corner to the kitchen waited a minute and delivered the same pizza's to another table across the room from us. Then a few minutes later brought out our pizza's.

We go every two weeks but take some warm clothing as it is freezing in the restaurant

Ordered take out. Spaghetti with bolognase sauce and a salad and a kids' pasta with meat sauce. Food was ready on time and handed out with all the needed utensils and a smile. Food was still warm when we got home, and we both enjoyed our pasta. The bread sent was sour dough, seemed super fresh, and tasted great, and the center was soft with a nicely chewy crust. Unexpectedly great bread compared to our expectations. We got two desserts- butter cake and red velvet. Both were wonderful but the butter cake was especially yummy. Parking was easy and here is churn side service available. Cost was very reasonable for our area of Florida. Recommend these items!
