For Goodness Sake Local Bistro

Very sweet place the salad (Chicken and Apple) was amazing, crisp, fresh and delicious. The Hazelnut and Caramel Milkshakes were very sweet. The Green Thai Chicken curry was delightful I could have used more spice but there was plenty flavour. Then we get to the only reason I eat main courses- the cake the carrot cake was moist, and had a great texture but, for me, the MVP was the luscious Sweet Potato Chocolate Cake. The team is super and very helpful.

Amazing breakfast. Mary was amazing and offered service with a smile. Good addition and they have a vegan option as well

The cuppachino is not bad but R45 for a large one is really expensive.

The decor of the bistro is beautifully done but that is almost all that is great about the experience here. The staff have quite an attitude and are not eager to assist the patrons. Orders have to be placed at the counter throughout your dining experience so you constantly up and down to get another coffee or to collect the bill. The menu options are very limited and something as simple as chips with your open sandwich is not a possibility. The food was not great and price is not matched to the quality received either. Overall not great and not worth the drive from JHB.

The restaurant looks beautiful but the service is terrible. They didn’t have what we ordered at first and then after waiting for an hour still no food! Very disappointing.
