I appreciated the hot water for the shower! The beds were decent, but the pillows were exceptional—large and fluffy. The staff was friendly and attentive as well. The rate was $178.00 per night.
We absolutely loved our stay at the motel! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and equipped with plenty of towels, accommodating six of us comfortably (four adults and two children) in a room with three beds. We had ample space to relax. The motel is set in a beautiful location, surrounded by farmland, and we could hear the distant sound of trains. It was a delightful experience. There’s even a bank right in front of the motel, and in the evenings, we would sit outside and watch the Amish families pass by on the street—little children would wave and smile at us, which added to the charm of our trip. I highly recommend this motel!
I really enjoyed the tour of the Amish farm. The wife offered a variety of homemade treats, including cookies, whoopie pies, lemonade, and root beer. She also had handmade pot holders and other items for sale. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10
It's somewhat of a joke. They claim their products are organic and free from fertilizers, yet it turns out they have fertilizers from Massachusetts stored in their warehouses, along with tractors equipped with advanced technology.
We were informed that we would only receive a refund for two out of the three nights because, according to their policy, the first night is non-refundable, even though we didn’t actually cancel our stay. After finding six cockroaches in such a short amount of time, who would want to stay? After several discussions with the manager, we were repeatedly told that a full refund wouldn’t be possible. Nonetheless, we checked out and found another place to stay. Before leaving, I mentioned I would be writing a review on TripAdvisor. Shortly after, we received a phone call informing us that our money would be refunded, which it was. The caller mentioned they hoped this wouldn’t deter us from returning, to which we replied that we would never come back. While the woman at the office was polite and friendly, letting us speak with the manager, he was far from courteous and didn’t even offer an apology. It was quite amusing that just a few days later, we received a generic email from Harvest Drive stating they aim for 100% customer satisfaction and asking us to review our stay. So here it is!
