After a morning stroll through Ronda's historical centre and a bout of shopping by the ladies, we sought out a restaurant which had been recommended to us, only to find it closed on Mondays. Walking further up the street took us to a small taberna with five or six tables under some trees in a small plaza in front of the Iglesia del la Merced. The jovial and informative owner served us drinks, and when my brother and I selected manzanilla, he brought a bottle of Solear to the table so we could serve ourselves. The raciones we chose were baked bacallao, fried calamares and boquerones a al plancha, each of which was cooked to perfection and served simply. Two of us had postres, one a cheesecake and the other a lemon pudding; both superb. A very unassuming little taberna, more patronised by the locals than tourists, and to be highly recommended for friendly service and very well prepared dishes.
We stumbled upon this place when we arrived in Ronda today. We were really hungry and decided to stop in. It was not too busy. The service was pretty fast and the food was great. Tapas was a nice change to a first, second and dessert menu, although they offer that too. We got quite a lot of tapas and were happy with the price on the bill. Nice little place.
Trato muy profesional. Comida casera muy buena y precio muy económico. Les deseo lo mejor
Sitio de Menú, Platos tradicionales pero muy ricos, El sitio muy limpio y tranquilo, La única pega es que no admiten pagar con tarjeta.
