The Garden Grille - Romulus

Upon reaching the bar, I was warmly welcomed by a cheerful bartender. She informed me that they were out of Chardonnay but had Pinot Grigio available, so I ordered a glass and started perusing the menu. It wasn’t a typical selection; there were some interesting options. I decided on the grilled chicken breast with mixed vegetables and red skin mashed potatoes. When my meal arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find it included a whole chicken breast, not a split one, and the portions of the sides were generous too. I can confidently say it was one of the best simple chicken dishes I’ve ever had. The chicken was grilled to perfection, and the butter drizzle elevated its flavor. The sautéed vegetables were perfectly cooked and very flavorful, while the red skin mashed potatoes were excellent as well. If I ever find myself staying near DTW again, I will definitely return.

I stayed at this hotel for a NASCAR weekend, and it was fantastic. After returning late a couple of nights, we were pleasantly surprised by how amazing dinner was at the Garden Grille. The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly; we ended up dining there two nights in a row. The chicken wings were incredible (we ordered them twice), and we also enjoyed the BBQ Chicken Flatbread, the Steak Sandwich (my husband had that twice), and the Crispy Chicken Cobb.

The restaurant has very convenient hours, serves delicious food, and features a friendly and pleasant staff.
