Pete's Place Brownstown - Romulus

Every time I come to pete’s place in brownstown, I have a great experience! christina has always provided my favorite service, but I have no complaints about other server. eating is amazing and the prices are also very reasonable. it is a smaller restaurant, but it does not feel like a conical island. two up!

Love Pete's Place. Both of them. Brownstown Taylor. Lots of different things to choose from on their menu. Friendly waitstaff. Food arrives in a reasonable amount of time. BEST French Fries! Biggest chef's salad I've ever seen. Great value for your money. Been going to Pete's for over 11 years! And will continue to visit.

The food was nice and warm. The service was quick and the staff was kind and friendly. For some reason the temperature inside the restaurant was unstable. At times it would feel hot, then sometimes I needed to put my coat on. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the food was good. I recommend it for couples and families.

In the middle My visit was on a Monday Morning at approx. 9:00. There were only 4 other people in the restaurant. Is this because of the time change? The waitress greeted me after I entered and sat down. She offered me coffee and gave me a menu. I could hear a variety of popular music in the background. I chose the Lumberjack Special 60 cheaper if you choose it from the side of the menu. The breakfast was good. I was not wowed by the service. The waitress was working alone and was doing other jobs in-between waiting on customers. She was pleasant and waited on me regularly. I just guess I think she had too many other items taking up her time. The Scrambled eggs were on point, fluffy and tender. The two bacon strips had a dark mahogany hue almost overcooked. The two sausages were fairly tasteless. The pancakes were full sized fluffy and had a slight yellow hue under the perfectly browned outside. Did not have a particularly buttery flavor so I am assuming the yellow was added coloring. They received syrup well like wonderful sponges. The coffee was very good. Not the least bit bitter. Atmosphere Pete’s Place is located on Telegraph Road in Brownstown Mi. There is also a location on Telegraph in Taylor Mi. There are plenty of 4 person booths inside It was very clean. There is music playing in the background. Noise Level Very Quiet. Normal talking levels. Meal Breakfast Special #7 Lumberjack $5.99. Coffee $2.29 Total $8.78 Slightly higher than average Wheelchair Access The restaurant is at street level, seating is at normal levels. Designated Handicap Parking is found at the end of the parking lot in front of the florist. Slight curb. No ramps visible. Again like some other places the entrance has a small breezeway between two doors. There is not enough space to maneuver a wheelchair comfortably between the doors There are public restrooms. My Rating: 1 Star Ratings range from zero to four stars. Zero is poor, One star, good. Two stars, very good. Three stars, excellent. Four stars, extraordinary (almost impossible to achieve)

I have been here several times and each time the food was good and the service good as well. This time the food was good too, but the service was lacking. I saw our waitress only a few times and had to request a refill for our drinks. The quality of food and service are the things that help you choose your dining option. They both need to be good if you want repeat business. I will be back and see if this is a fluke or a trend.
