Zizzi Romford

The restaurant manager here is genuinely friendly, and we felt very welcome during our visit. We opted for a table in the corner, which made the service a bit slower since we were less visible. However, the food was delicious, and my parents really enjoyed it (which isn't always easy to achieve, haha). Overall, I would definitely recommend this place!

I had been to Zizzi a few times before, but on this occasion, I was quite disappointed. We ordered from the festive menu. I tried the mozzarella 'nduja sticks, and I only received two that were filled in the middle. Next, I had the mushroom and chicken risotto, which I've enjoyed several times in the past, but this time it was overcooked, mushy, and filled with large lumps. I could only manage a few bites. When the server came to take our plates, they asked if everything was alright, and I mentioned that my dish was overcooked. The server didn’t even apologize. For dessert, I had the millionaire's tart, which was very rich. My friends thought their dishes were okay, but not great. I was really hoping for a better experience, and I hope to return in the future to give it another chance!

I wasn't initially excited about Zizzi, but the food was delicious and the staff was fantastic!

A little loud, but to expect at midday in a family restaurant. the food was well prepared. kellner was great and friendly.

On Valentine's day I booked a table for 2 at 7pm. Received starts at 8.15pm after complaining about the wait. then at 9.15pm we asked to leave as we did not receive our dinner, the kitchen was falling apart on a set menu and the staff ignored us numerous times. ended up in McDonald's!
