My group of 6 people had a fantastic vegan afternoon tea experience at Forge Cottage Team Room. The menu was thoughtfully curated with a wide variety of options. The presentation was impeccable and they had a great selection of teas with refills, as well as coffee. The scones with homemade strawberry jam and plant cream were a standout, along with delicious cakes and sweets. The lentil, carrot, and cashew soup was a crowd-pleaser, and there were plenty of sandwich options, a veg tart, and vegan caviar on crackers for more substantial fare. The quirky and colorful decor at Forge Cottage added to the welcoming ambiance. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic about veganism, and seemed genuinely committed to improving their vegan offerings.
