Lost Acre Tavern - Romeoville

A hidden gem! Yes, it's a dive bar, but what an incredible dive bar it is! There's a wide range of menu options, the beer prices are great, and the service is attentive. It might be a little tricky to locate, but I highly recommend checking it out!

I may be a bit biased since I grew up in this area, but this place serves the best poorboy sandwich in town!

Living in Chicago is hard to find real good diving bars outside the city. This place nails it with a large square bar in the middle, a few tables, billiard table and slots with TouchTunes Jukebox. In any case, a place filled with regular guests. If you are looking for a drink and a bite after leaving your child at the Romeoville Sports Complex, it is literally in the parking lot of the facility. Very sweet bartender, friendly crowd and nice strong drinks. I had the double cheeseburger with Swiss and grilled onions and I can hardly wait to come back and have one more. Seasoned Curly fries on the side, 11 very large and extremely tasty!! Great bang for the Buck, big little dive bar and the slot seem to pay!!
