Kings Tavern - Romansville

We both had the crab soup and immediately we noticed the overabundance of salt. Please learn how to use other spices besides salt which would enhance flavor.I had the southern chicken dish and the prior review nailed my response. There was something I liked about it and something I didn't. It's in the spices somehow. I woke up at 2 AM and still could taste the flavor.

I heard good things about this place and made a reservation to dine here with my wife but when I showed up I could not get in because I use a wheelchair and they have no ramp!!!! You would think in 2022 that a business that recently renovated itself would have the decency to make sure that EVERYONE could use it… but not here… just a very lame “sorry” from the manager on duty… what pours salt in the wound is that this is not a historic building and it is only two steps and there is plenty of room to put a ramp in that would blend right in to the surroundings but for some reason this wasn’t done so everyone could enjoy their food… very disappointing…Addendum:Apparently management is not too happy with the “tone” of my review… not sorry… I’ve had to deal with this for over fifty years as a wheelchair user and you would think that people would have a little awareness by now that there is a big chunk of people out there that need ramps and things like that to access our society…2/17/2024: Still waiting for the results of that huge wheelchair accessible build out that was promised almost a year and a half ago… what’s up with that???

Always a good experience when I go. Went to the comedy show they had and I had an absolute blast. When it’s crowded parking sucks

Have had the same server twice. They put in the incorrect entre and when it came out they blamed me even though everyone at the table acknowledged what I had asked for AND didn't correct it. Also, only gave 3 little over cooked pieces of bread for an appetizer for the table. Second time was nearly as bad. I won't stay if we have that server again.

Was excited to come here but disappointed and will not be going back. Crab cakes are horribly bland and I bit into a nice hard top of a tomato that was supposed to be a slice on my crab cake sandwich. Server was no where to be found multiple times had to ask the bartender for things. My son's burger came out medium, sent it back for a new one, took an hour and a half and was s raw also. Disappointed and overpriced.
