This place is excellent for a cold beer and a good home made pizza is right next to Valadier Hotel between plaza de Popolo and plaza España highly recommend!!!
Our family stopped in for lunch and had some very tasty cocktails (lots of alcohol but doesn't taste of it), a great cheese plate with focaccia and some of the best aglio e olio I've ever had. Having been to Italy before, I was leery about pasta from a German restaurant, but it was well worth it. Amazing and we will be back next time we visit.
My husband and I had decided to skip breakfast one day at our hotel in Rome and venture the city. We stopped for a brunch meal. For this area you might find it a bit unusual to find a breakfast menu as most of the foods mostly consist of lunch/dinner options. As a yelper I know my way around things when traveling. I do my research and look for familiar items that consist of breakfast items. That is an egg, cappuccino, fruits and vegetables. When I arrive I simply ask a few questions, can I view the menu and does it have these items I am looking for? If it does not I proceed on. This restaurant indeed did, you may not have guessed thinking oh it 's German and consists of brats, etc. No, my friends read the fine print of your menu 's whether it 's in Italian or English you will see all the items listed there. Plus we got to sit outside eat our omelettes with the most wonderful cappuccino you can only get in Italy. Then to cap off our wonderful meal we went with something sweet to savor the last bit of our experience here and that was their decadent chocolate cake. Do yourself a favor, walk by this area and simply just look at their menu. I know your in Rome and only think of those Italian options. Maybe other restaurants will have similar but same concepts and you will actually like their food. So I dare you, give it a try! You have nothing to lose!
Stopped in here for breakfast around lunch time but they had eggs and bacon and bread. Our waitress was very sweet and spoke very nice English. A lot of Germans stopping for their noon time beer. Decently priced compared to the places a block up that charge 6 euro for toast but overlook the square.
