Cocotte Happy Cooking - Roma

While on holiday in Rome, we discovered this gem of a restaurant. Whilst the menu did not offer any soup options, Chef Mario was willing to make a soup for my mum. Our food was of excellent quality and value, beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Considering we stumbled on it by accident, this beautifully decorated restaurant is a true gem including it's staff, especially Valentina.

We visited tonight as it looked nice we walked in and nobody bothered with us and we had to go to counter to ask for our order. The guy came over as if we had bothered him we ordered 2 burgers and when came i burger and one veggie burger we said thats no what we ordered he did not seem bothered said would change the burger came out not cooked they did not apologise or anything i would not recommend this place not welcoming and the guy with man bun especially.

Stopped here for breakfast as it was busy with a lot of local families always a good sign. They offer an international breakfast deal for 10 Euros including a hot dish, croissant, juice and cappuccino. In retrospect we should not have been tempted by this tourist y fare. The juice was watery and sweet orange flavoured drink I think rather than juice) and the scrambled eggs were powdery and lukewarm. However, the fresh juices were fabulous, the croissants were tasty and the service could not have been more welcoming. More fool us for choosing from the menu like tourists and not like locals I think!

Splendido locale, ambienti curati e posizione ottima. I proprietari e il personale sono gentilissimi. Abbiamo preso pasta all'amatriciana, verdure grigliate e dei cornetti per la colazione. La cucina è la qualità sono davvero notevoli! Ci torneremo!

Luogo veramente accogliente e si mangia una buonissima carbonara. Lo consiglio nei break e ai professionisti. Prezzi adatti!
