Claudio - Roma

First visited this restaurant about 15 years ago and a few times since. I believe it has changed hands recently so we decided to give it a try based on our satisfaction on previous visits. The restaurant had changed little except for the social distancing and we were glad that we had made a reservation. Both our meals consisting of ham/melon starter, lamb chops and fettuccine were excellent served with a lively house wine. The setting is unique including the green canopy, the historic buildings and the rolling cornfields all around. Good food, good wine, great ambiance and reasonable cost. What more is needed?

As a frequenter of this unique and beautiful place for just under 30 years, I am sorry to say that the new management has made a mess of it. A heavily marked up bill for the same menu as before, cooked worse and served carelessly. Claudio must be fuming and I miss him.

Sunday lunch with friends, this is the type of rustic restaurant seen in romantic movies. And the food lives up to it too delicious grilled meats and grilled vegetables, fresh pasta, cold cuts and cheeses, served with care and attention. Great value for such a high quality dinner.

In the village welcomes us the claudio restaurant. you can choose a table under the pergola, fragrant lily. pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, it is nice to see people sitting around a table, while waiting for the appetizing courses you laugh, you talk again to live. Then the parrot comes! food cooked with love, with excellent results. I got my face in the hut. thank you for the courtesy with which the staff will return.

Roman Gothic cuisine and feature led by claudio that guide from 73 assisted by efficient and kind staff. especially on weekends it is advisable to book for time.
