In this historic bar of Rione Monti, the first of Rome, came not only to make the golden breakfast of coffee or cappuccino and croissants, but also and above all to buy coffee in the different Brazilian blends offered by the company. From the precious black beads, made powder, came out all the taste of the morning just awake, the sun in pajamas, the freshness in the air and the aroma of the coffee that grinned... It then came out with a package of oily paper and inside the ground coffee still warm for treatment... Breathe, sigh, how beautiful! And today as yesterday the tradition continues, although many have forgotten it. As well as tourists, many, who make themselves monticians, I offer a 'special idea to bring home: a packet of monticiano DOC coffee! I then, in this bar, did so many breakfasts that I don't count on her anymore. Today I was passionate about the Canuccino croissant that, as a friend told me (with whom I divided it) is very sweet and seems less calorie but not true point. One thing: do you know who invented the shape of the hornet? No? Then I'll tell you. It was Blessed Mark of Havana, after the defeat of the Turks in Vienna. We stopped for a lunch on the fly a nice dish of pasta carbonara and cacio and pepper tasty and plentiful dishes, super friendly table service with plenty of advice to continue our Roman tour, super recommended!

It is located in Via dei Serpenti, in the heart of the Monti district. We stopped here to get some quck breakfast and try their coffee. The taste was okay, but didn't feel like it was any special. There is a nice seating area inside, at the mezzanine, with numerous tables. But you can have your order also on the sidewalk, for outside service. Maybe worth checking out again next time.

Good coffee, nice staff, enough place to sit, we ordered pastries with cream, it was tasty. coffee without lactose is possible.
