We visited here during our stay in Rome after seeing so many positive reviews on here, but were left a bit disappointed. It’s pretty touristy- but if that’s your vibe it’s not a bad place to go! My husband got the spaghetti and meatballs and I got the carbonara. The carbonara was far from the best carbonara I’ve had during my stay in Rome- there just wasn’t anything special about it! The portions were very generous and some of the largest I’ve seen during my stay here (I personally couldn’t even finish my pasta! . The service is rushed for Italian standards, but pretty comparable to service in the United States.

The place itself is good, there are long lines but it goes fast. However, the food leaves a lot to be desired. We ordered carbonara and they were really cold, the sauce is acceptable, nothing more... You can tell they make it in large quantities. In my opinion it is too famous for what it really is. There are cheaper and much better restaurants. Service: Dine in

This place is amazing. Carbonara the pasta with polpetti were so delicious. Guistina was our server and shout out to her for being so great. We went at 8:30 so only had to wait like 15 minutes.
