MOMO, which used to be Nuovo Drago D 'Oro, has recently been passed on to new management, with an updated bright modern interior and a new and very skilled chef. We turned up just before 8pm on a Friday night as a group of 6 without making a booking, and we 're grateful to have a seat. Almost all of our group, who are from different parts of Southeast Asia, found the food to be authentically Chinese. The chef, who is originally from Wenzhou, offered an off-menu items in addition to the more 'regular Chinese restaurant ' menu offerings, and the food totally suited our taste. The new Monica who runs the place (the previous Monica has relocated) us warm, friendly, attentive and hospitable. We were so hungry, the food was so comforting, and we were so busy chatting that we totally forgot take photos! The prices were fair, and the 'salsa piccante ' (homemade fresh chili paste in oil) was excellent. Apparently with advance notice, there are a whole lot of off-menu traditional dishes available. We 'll be back to try more!
