Bulldog Ale House - Rolling Meadows

Service for the most part was solid. Had some trouble trying to get a waiter here and there but they were all polite. Vibe and atmosphere was great, only complaint is that it got really hot at random times during the night. Food overall was good. Really enjoyed the boneless wings. Ordered beignets, which came really quick but without sauces, had to ask for them and even then forgot to bring caramel after asking twice... But it didn't matter because they were not good. Still would go back for everything else.

The reason for the 3-star rating was service. We went on a weeknight (a Thursday I think) and were greeted, less than warmly, by the host(ess) stand. Once we were seated at the bar, the bartender was very slow. In her defense, she was new and making a drink she wasn't familiar with. Still, it took at least 10 minutes for one drink and there were only two other customers, drinking beer, who didn't require service. There was also only one food menu offered. Granted, the menu is available online and there were QR codes to scan, a physical menu was much easier to use given the variety of the menu. Food was tasty!

Four of us got here around 11-1130am, we sat at the bar, seats were great and the bartender had a great personality. The selection of tap beers are great. The food and service was very good. Prices are comparable to almost every where you go. The food was great. Pizza is about a 12inch size. Burgers, especially the Bull dog one, was great. the only thing I have to say negative, is the menu on the web, the owner has to bring it up to date, or he's going to have problems. The menu is out of date)I would go there again. Got a good bunch of employees, keep em, hard to find. If you don't want to sit inside, they got plenty of room outside. Parking: Plenty of parking and handicap parking Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for a walker and wheelchair.

The house salad was really good. We also got the Wednesday special (half price pizza) which was also good.

The Italian Beef Egg Rolls were my favorite part of the meal. The burger was okay. My wife got the fish tacos, which I also liked. You definitely also want to get the crispy Brussels Sprouts. Overall really good place for food, and great service.
