Catfish John's - Rogers

Excellent in all regards. Don't sleep on their chicken. They have the best Chicken Strips and French Fries in town and those are not even their specialties.

If your passing by and your hungry you need to stop in, you won't be leaving hungry. BIg portions great food great staff!!

Just tried catfish John's for the first time. This is about what I want out of a fish house. The hush puppies were the perfect size for me. Just like we make them at home. I wish they had been cooked just a little less though. Still delicious nonetheless. The fish was cooked to perfection, as was the butterfly shrimp. I wish they had used more seasons in the breading. It tastes like my dad makes it, just straight up cornmeal. A little more s&p would have carried it a long way. The sweet tea was the thing I didn't like. Maybe it just tasted old. They need to update prices on the board. I will recommend this place.

We always have a great meal when we go there. Love the catfish!
