If the weather is beautiful, there is also a terrace that lies next to a stream. (Attention Moskito Alarm). The head of the hotel, which is attached, cooks and that is excellent. Despite the noble impression, I found the prices for typical Palatinate dishes not overpriced. Conclusion: If I stay here again, I am here again for the culinary delights.
General A restaurant in family hands. It also feels at hosting. The senior goes from table to table and asks how it tasted. Unfortunately, the food took a very long time. The senior founded the one with the hosting of a company in the next room. During this lunch I had a menu with a clear beef soup, as the main course gave a chestnut filled wild boar on red cabbage and dumplings (4 pieces) and a small vanilla ice cream with a red cap. Unfortunately, the Brat (2 discs) was completely dry. 4 dumplings hear enormous, but the diameter was only 4 cm, so the amount of shell fits. Before the menu there was a bowl with weisbrot and Griebenschmalz. To the menu I drank a Late Pinot from Messmer,Burrweiler. If the Brat was not too dry, I could recommend the menu, so unfortunately not. The price is not to beat, 19, € for 3 courses!
