Ritz Cafe - Rocky Mountain House

I would avoid this cafe at all costs. The food was terrible and the restaurant itself is run-down and in poor condition. I had a very unpleasant experience and will not be returning.

This old, run-down diner has been transformed into a Chinese restaurant. The initial impression was not great - the men's restroom had a leaky urinal that was being caught by a plastic food container bin. The smell was unpleasant, to say the least. This set the tone for the rest of the experience at Ritz Cafe. It's safe to say that the food review might not even be necessary after this introduction.

The reviews which mention the need to update are missing the point -- this is a great throwback restaurant and is meant to be enjoyed for what it is, a great glimpse back into a simpler time when independant small town restaurants ruled the landscape....More

Stopped in for lunch to have hot and sour soup. It was fantastic. Service was great and it was very quiet. Sure it is a smaller town establishment and some updating could be done, but the quality of the food was good. Will be back to try other dishes.

The food was horrific and the building is very odd and smells of mold. Take the time to drive to Caroline for your Chinese food.
