Walked two minutes down the road and talked to the fisherman at Harbour Seafood about what to get. We ended up with a pound and a half of fresh halibut for $10. Sautéed it with garlic butter and salt and pepper and it was one of the best meals of our trip!
For affordable lobster, head to Harbour Seafoods. We ordered lobster for three nights straight. They will boil them for a small fee, then you can take them home to enjoy. We also bought lobster crackers at the nearby general store. They have a variety of other local seafood options available for purchase, but you will have to cook them yourself. Cooking instructions are posted on the wall. The codfish cakes were delicious as well.
We visited this restaurant twice for the lobster, which was fresh and reasonably priced. If you are uncomfortable cooking lobster yourself, they also offer a steaming service for an extra charge.
Lobster was great. They also have live crab and other seafood, as well as frozen options. Helpful staff.
