Winston's Whiskey & Wine Bar

Went here for a birthday dinner with some friends and had really high hopes.

Unlike most restaurants where you go to have a meal, and perhaps a drink, you go to Winston's to drink and perhaps have a meal.

Brunch Review - Closer to a 3.5 Granted it was a holiday weekend, it was fairly empty inside and there seemed to be some sitting outside as well.

The atmosphere was good, the noise level was ok, the food was missing. The service was very good, nice waiters and reception! The sweetness of the sauces in our Mexican food was very different and not good! Even the salsa for the fries was more like spaghetti, how do you mess up something simple like salsa ??? We think the worst was the enchilada sauce, sweet sauce, cinnamon doesn't go with enchiladas, I don't care if it's California, it doesn't taste good, sorry !!!!!!

I love this place! Your salsa is excellent and the mole is wonderful too. I eat here every time I am in Laguna Beach.
