Mosaic Cuisine & Cafe - Rockville

We were unexpectedly early, but the hostess could put us anyway, although the place was full. it is easy to see why. waffeln waffeln waffeln! I had the smoked laughs waffel, my friend had the waffelnutella. excellent, both. mine had swash and snatch, her was delicious gooey-groom. the waiter kept my coffee cup full and the waiter was attentive without choking us. as my food companion decided that she needed something more important, she ordered the grilled cheese from the children's menu. bingo! she is vegetarian, and mosaic has several vegan and vegetarian options throughout the menu. a really nice Saturday brunch place.

If you want a traditionally prepared French style meal, this is the place in moco. our table had butternut squash suppe, shitake suppe, cajau over a bed of speck mais succotash, boeuf bourguignon and rack of lamb. Cream brulee for desert. all were delicious.

This is a hidden gem in a shopping area near the hotel where we were. it was not crowded, the atmosphere was very relaxing, and the server were very pleasant. we all enjoyed our meal, ranging from bark to scallops. and the chocolate waffel dessert was super space saving for him!

Wonderful eating with great ambiente. in a secret spot. come back!
