Japong Bakery - Rockville

I frequented this restaurant a lot last year. The Taiwanese baked goods are very authentic, but they cater to all cultures, not just Taiwanese people. Each piece of baked good is meticulously crafted, showing that the workers take great pride in what they do. They offer a wide variety of baked goods, from bread to cakes, including Japanese style cheesecake. They also accept custom cake orders for special occasions. We tried a passion fruit cake and it was delicious. The only downside was that it wasn't the most visually appealing, but the taste made up for it!

We ordered the cheese custard and it was amazing. It was light and fluffy with a creamy taste. Highly recommend trying it.

I had the Japanese cheesecake for the first time and it was amazing and incredibly refreshing. It is much lighter and fluffier than the American version.

Their pastries are really delicious and tasteful! they have a great choice

I got a taro roll cake and it is absolutely delicious! Not too sweet and just right for my taste. Can't believe I haven't discovered this place until now.
