Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Chicken was delicious. The gravy was delicious. Hash brown casserole good. Mashed potatoes okay. Looks like theyve been sitting awhile. Baby carrots not so great, way over cooked and were too sweet, too much sugar added. But it was pretty good food and a lot of it. Havent tried the peach cobbler yet

The little country store is darling. Unfortunately the restaurant was the complete opposite. It was our first time there and didn't really know what to expect. Our waitress was extremely rude and treated us like her ex husband's new wife. When she came to take our order she told us to hurry because she had a table of five coming in soon. Clearly they were a priority for her since she served them first...we waited 45 minutes and the table of five was being served and we still were not. Our waitress did peak around the corner at us and she was chewing food. We finally ask another server to just have to kitchen box up our food to go.They finally brought our food not boxed up and said they were busy but there were only five other tables besides us with customers. Did I mention that the table of five that came 15 minutes after us got served.We took our food home since we all had enough and it was no good. Very disappointed !!

To top it off, Avery was exceptional!!! Awesome customer .Food was awesome and tasty.

The food at Cracker Barrel is consistently excellent, but the service at this location didn't meet the usual standard. Their biscuits are incredibly delicious and delightfully fluffy—truly amazing!

We came in for breakfast, but the special was fried chicken. My son ordered that, while I opted for their version of eggs Benedict. I specifically requested hollandaise sauce on the side and asked for my eggs to be cooked medium-well. I also inquired about the type of bacon they used, but she didn’t know and responded with a few "I don’t knows." When the food arrived, she admitted she forgot to specify the sauce on the side and placed it in front of me. I was ready to take it, but my son insisted she take it back. As I tried his fried chicken, I was amazed at how delicious it was! Then, my order came back, but the eggs were a bit too runny for my liking. I decided to be accommodating and keep it, thinking I’d share with my son. However, when I went to cut it in half, I realized they hadn’t included any bacon at all. Frustrating! She eventually brought me a small bowl of bacon and just handed it to me. As she dropped off the bill, it landed among other items on the table, which felt a bit careless. Later, she returned to say she had placed the wrong bill there. Additionally, she didn’t pick up our dishes as we finished, and when we mentioned it, she suddenly came over as if she had overheard us. Now I understand why I haven’t been back since before COVID. I might return, but only if it’s fried chicken day, and even then, I likely won’t come back for another six months. I’m relieved to see that I’m not the only one who has shared less-than-stellar reviews.
