There were 14 of us. I called ahead to see if they had room and she said that we had to be split in 2 tables. They did not have one large enough. They definitely cater to the Americanized version. We had to ask for chopsticks. Forks were on the table. The whole chicken did not include the head or feet nor did they serve any feet for that matter. Did not order whole fish because I didn't see it. The aquarium was just that. No fresh fish. Food was overall good. Only item I didn't care for was the pot stickers. There was something in it that didn't taste good but that was just me i think. Portions were fair to the price. Peking ribs had a lot of bone, little meat. Service was good. There are lunch specials for less than $20. I would come back again.
SHOCKED to have found good Chinese food here in Rocklin. SHOCKED. We ordered Mongolian Beef, Wonton Soup, Salt and Pepper Calamari, General Chicken, Chow Mein, Fried Flounder, and some rice. This is a restaurant we can revisit twice a month for sure. Thank you for your commitment to high-quality ingredients and great taste and flavors. If you're searching for a Chinese restaurant in the Rose/Rocklin/Lincoln areas, then search no more.
I have been to China villa many many times and I've never had a bad experience. The food is always great and the service is exceptional.
We get take out from China Villa about once a month. It's a little pricey but very tasty. I love the war wonton soup. Service is quick and friendly. Close to the movie theater so if we need something other than popcorn it's convenient before or after the show.
Came here to visit my brother and this is their go-to Chinese restaurant. Food: very good food! We ordered a lot as you can see in the picture. My favorite is the bok choy/mushroom dish. Very simple but I love a good vegetable dish. We ordered the happy family dish--we tried this dish when we were in Boston and I have to say it's slightly different taste--Boston style was better but this was good as well. The black bean and fish was also tasty. I also loved the salt and pepper pork. Service: we ordered over the phone and the lady helping us was very nice. Our food wasn't quite ready but the gentleman who brought it out was very nice and accommodating. He even offered to help us bring everything out. Ambiance: walking inside felt like a very authentic Chinese restaurant. I would definitely come back here! I gave a minus 1 star because I can't give a half star--our fortune cookie was very very very stale, the only disappointing thing about it. Other than that, I do recommend this place for a go-to Chinese restaurant.
