Fuel Cafe - Rockhampton

We like to give places a few goes before we review. This wasn't our first experience. The sign said all coffees $3, any milk. Well, ordered 3 coffees - that will be $15.50! Ok, I won't make an issue if it. One coffee is on lactose free. Saw staff making coffee on Trim. Pointed out I asked for lactose free - staff "it is", ah no - that's Trim - staff "Trim is lactose free". Ok, so you charged me for lactose free and lie to me! You have no understanding how food issues can make some people sick? Lactose = the runs. Poor form.

Renny's Cafe is an adorable location for a coffee and breakfast.

After visiting two other paleo style cafes, I was disappointed by the lackluster options. I should have just gone straight to Fuel. The service at this cafe is amazing, and the owner is very knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients in the food. They were super helpful in answering our questions, especially since we are on the gaps diet. This was the first cafe where we could find food we could eat, and it actually tasted pretty good. I also loved the coffee here.

I absolutely love Fuel Cafe! Lisa and her staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious, especially the raw treats which are out of this world! And the coffee is top-notch too!

Possibly the best coffee I have ever had in Rockhampton, and the best part is it's only $3. The service was excellent, with a friendly smile. I will definitely be back, maybe even tomorrow.
