Herman's Boy - Rockford

Loves her coffee and sticky rolls! Your Bagel dogs are awesome and great for occasions like Hosting Super Bowl parties. Very recommended, their cut turkey, their turkey dip, their fantastic teas, and their chocolate covers espresso beans!! Whether you're visiting Rockford for the first time, I recommend you start at the Hermans-Junge and take a cup of coffee and a bagel dog before you walk in the city centre. It will make your experience more pleasant!

Great place to get from cheap breakfast: bagels, cream cheese, turkey dip, coffee hot or icey, hot chocolate or tea. Specialties such as sticky sticky rolls Fri/Sat only. If you make bbq, you will be thrilled by the selection.

As I explored the shop, every staff member who wasn't occupied with a customer (and there were quite a few!) offered to help, and everyone was so friendly. I made my way to the tea selection, which had an impressive variety. Two staff members engaged with me and shared their knowledge about the different teas, and I ended up choosing six different flavors. The prices were fantastic too—ranging from $5 to $7 for 2 oz to 4 oz. That's a great deal compared to the $9 I usually pay for 2 oz at a larger company. I also tried a BLT bagel sandwich, which was absolutely delicious and only cost $3.30! I can’t wait to go home and enjoy all the teas I picked out (I’m still sitting in their parking lot, having just finished my sandwich, haha). Thank you to everyone who assisted me today—I will definitely be returning!

Everything I've had here is the best! What a great family friendly, warm and inviting Ma and Pop shop. Sadly, I find myself craving another stop far more often than I can make possible.
