Carvel - Rockaway Park

I agree with other reviewers that Carvel ice cream is always excellent. The staff here are incredibly friendly and serve with a smile, making the experience even better. Grabbing a cake to go is a great idea, whether it's for a special occasion or just a treat for yourself. The box even includes a coupon for a discount on your next purchase, so you might find yourself coming back regularly. This place must have great management!

The late-night staff at this restaurant is terrible. They are impolite and make you feel unwelcome if you arrive after 9:15pm, even though they close at 10pm. The consistency of the food preparation is lacking, and the service is often rushed and unfriendly during the evening. I recommend going to Mara's, a few blocks away. It's worth the extra distance.

I think their fridge by the front counter needs some maintenance since some of the Ice cream had melted and then refroze.

Very bad customer service. Treated us like we are not supposed to go there. We ordered 3 ice creams. Ice creams are here very old and date expired i think. Tasted like been sitting there for few years. Will not recommend someone to go there. Very upset with the experience.
