Missy's Main Street Cafe - Rockaway

The breakfast of a lifetime!!!! My first visit absolutely not my last Missy's lived up to everything I've heard. The tables are close but added to the ambiance and made for friendly conversations. Staff .. food quality and portions were outstanding. HIGHLY recommend Missy's!!! On my way back soon.

I didn't know what to expect when I was first walking up to the restaurant. From the outside, it didn't look too impressive. Once I stepped inside, it was a different story. It had a great atmosphere and the smells coming from the kitchen had my mouth watering. The servers were attentive and always had a ready smile. I highly recommend Missy's!!

Overall not a bad spot at all. I’d say the omelette shined; well done, tasty, a good size, and accompanied by tasty home fry style potatoes and nicely toasted/buttered multigrain bread. No complaints there. The french toast however, left a bunch to be desired. It was very dry, not sure if they use the store bought dipped/cooked french toast and then just warm it up on the griddle or if they actually soak their own bread and cook it for real, but it just wasn’t a good french toast at all. For $9 I felt a little silly paying for it; wouldn’t get it again. The omelette and potatoes carried though.

This was a great cozy country feel. The employees are funny and make you feel at home! We tried taco pankake breakfast basic Taylor ham egg cheese and they were both amazing and flavorful. We will be back!

This review strictly about the service. Didn’t get to try the food and won’t go back to bother trying. This place states they close at 2 and at 1 o’clock was denied service because was too close to closing time all this while having empty seats. Update your Google hours do everyone a favor.
