Alfano's Pizza - Rock Island

A very good stuffed pizza! My wife from Chicago agrees so I'm sure we're back. The pizza looks the same as on its website. You can't say that about most other places. I also appreciate the retro geocities style of the website. Nice touch.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDS PIZZA JOINT!! New to the Quad city of MSP and was looking for a new pizza trip. Our neighbors recommended Alfonsos Pizza and glad that we added them to their recommendation. We decided to order a regular pizza and try a deep pizza also the two different styles. The regular pizza was good, but nothing amazing. We ordered a medium onion and green peppers, which was delicious, but again only good average pizza. The second pizza we ordered was a little deep-court pizza. That was a sausage and mushroom pizza that was INCREDIBLE! Maybe one of the three best deep-court pizzas I've ever had, and this includes all the pizzerias I had in Chicago. Overall experience was fantastic, also with the fight to place an order over the phone because the telephone lines ARE ALWAYS BUSY, which is a good sign that I suspect

This is a historical landmark in not only Rock Island, but the Quad Cities as a whole. I shaved RAVED over Alfano's to my husband's son... her anticipation for the Pizza Calzone experience of life! My words were filled until they put our order and the N in their eyes when all these treats touched their lips! I was devastated over 7 years ago when I tried to find time to pamper while in town, but could not. I didn't want to miss the DIESE time. Alfano's REALLY is the best pizza on earth

One of the biggest pizza places I've ever been. Their filled pizza is phenomenal and the regular crust is also amazing. I've never had a bad experience here since I think about it. I lived over half of my life in Rock Island and visited this place often. Still great after all these years. I will definitely be back to spend more money here.
