Whiskey Rae's - Rochester Hills

I feel bad rating so low bc the service and food were fine. The major issue we had was with the trivia on Thursday. The host spoke with his mouth caressing the microphone so every word was completely muffled and it wasn't hooked up to surround sound. There were other players openly cheating right next to us and the host did not care. Will never return for trivia again.

This place is getting worse every time I go. The food is mediocre, and the service is absolutely horrendous. Went for lunch with a couple of colleagues, and it almost 1 1/2 hours for a simple quick lunch. Asked for the check as soon as the waitress dropped the food, still took 25 minutes. Won't be back. Not surprisingly, that only a handful of tables were occupied.

Had a nice French dip and 20 oz. ale for $25 with the tip. Largest whisky selection in above average brands I've seen! Fast service for lunch 5 minutes, likable staff.

We had a fabulous meal and service at Whiskey Ray's last. Our 1st time there! The tortilla soup was awesome, my blackened whitefish was perfect, and the chili was very good as well! We ended the meal with the waffle brownie sundae, . Our server, Clara, was wonderful and attentive! We will be back!!

Visited in Jan and Feb for lunch with family/friends both times. Okay service, a bit slow given there were only maybe 2 other tables on both occasions, and a couple of people at the bar. They were out of some ingredients in Feb, so we had to change our drink/food orders. In Jan, the chicken sandwich tasted really fishy and was a small piece of meat, would not recommend it. Fish/chips and pierogi appetizer are good! Blueberry Thriller is a go-to drink everytime!
