Shish Palace - Rochester Hills

Great food and over the top service! Went at the last minute and was not disappointed. They ran out of rice due to the carry out orders and gave us a substitute instead. That was perfectly fine. After they made new rice, they brought some out and kept bringing out orders of rice to us to make up for it! It almost was something you would see in a sitcom or something. We ended up taking 6 large orders of rice home (which was delicious, btw).

Best Mediterranean food in the area...actually I live in N. Oxford and it's the best from Troy to Oxford. I ordered some carryout to take home to our builder who had been the middle East for work in years past, and he commented on how good it was. The fried kibbeh and fixings is delish and the chicken hummus are fantastic suuuuupper creamy hummus and the chicken had a great char taste but was also juicy. Every time we eat here, take out or dine in, it's really, really good. OH and the staff are sooooo nice every time. Highly recommend.

Very generous portions. Great value and very good food. Fries are fantastic. Bread is perfect. Goes well with garlic paste or hummus. Not a fan of the spinach pie appetizer. Shish combo was all delicious.

We came here on a Saturday to enjoy some lunch, and did we ever. We have been here many times before the pandemic but of course had to try again post pandemic. The server was good, we thought it was kinda slow on the service but it can be deceiving because we don't see how many takeout or delivery orders they truly have, so have to bear with them. The food is excellent as always. The pita is very good, I recommend getting some babaghanouj or hummus. We're vegan and it's quite easy to find some vegan options here. Definitely recommend checking out this beauty if you're in the north Detroit suburbs. 5/5. Follow me for more reviews, tips or photos.
