Chili's Grill - Rochester Hills

I had such a great experience here! The drinks and food were very good and our server Caels was so friendly and charismatic! She made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be coming again soon!

This is my preferred Chili's location. In my experience, the food at almost all Chili's restaurants is consistently good across the chain. I've never encountered any issues with the taste of the food. However, the service could use some improvement. Given the current staffing shortages, it’s understandable that things might not run as smoothly as we would hope. Since the pandemic, the Chili's chain has been a bit off, which explains the slower service. It’s puzzling why they can’t seem to staff their restaurants adequately. When there’s a lack of staff, it's crucial for the remaining employees to excel in customer service. Forgetting multiple items when returning to the table is simply unacceptable. Overall, I believe Chili's food has always rated between a 4 and a 5 for what it is, but let's not compare it to high-end establishments like Ruth's Chris.

I recently attended my friend's wake and was impressed by the service provided by Tyrone, the manager. He was cheerful and empathetic while attending to our large group. The venue was spotless, with clean floors and restrooms. The kitchen staff also appeared to be happy and positively engaged with one another. It's clear that Tyrone runs an efficient operation. It's unfortunate that more businesses don’t follow this example.

The service was absolutely outstanding! Our server, David, along with the food runners, were fantastic. The food arrived so quickly that it felt like it was served while we were still placing our order. Both the quality and quantity of the dishes were impressive! They continuously refilled our plates without us having to ask. I couldn't recommend this restaurant highly enough!

My husband and I came in for a late lunch and it took over an hour for us to be served. My husband had to get up and go find our server to get a refill on our drinks and chips and salsa, took almost 50 minutes for my husband to get his drink. I understand that it gets busy at times but there were other people around us who were sat, fed then paid and left before we got a refill on our chips and salsa, when our food did eventually arrive my husband's looked like it sat under a light for 40 minutes (our server agreed) and mine hadn't even come out. He brought my food out and half of it was incorrect, they did remake my husband's meal but I felt like I was pulling teeth trying to get a side of ranch and the rest of my order. We had another server that was more helpful then ours was, he made the experience a lot better. It was a very frustrating experience as a whole. The food once it was served and was remade was good, no complaints there.
