Sumo Japanese Sushi - Rochester

I've been going to Sumo for a few years. This is my favorite sushi place! You have unsurpassed hospitality. The sushi is not the greatest of the world, but it is the most consistent thing I had and far above the normal standard. Any role I've tried is great and the special roles are even better. Recommend Sumo for every occasion. The staff is very polite and I never had a problem with phone instructions or in-person eating in the last 5 years I visited. The food comes out in time and the price is right. Amazing place for sushi and the opportunity Hibachi court!

They must try their tuna dumplings to die for! And the orange dragon was so fresh, simply melts as you eat it. Very recommended!

You're the best! For years. Sushi is fresh, tasty and the service is great. Everything we've ever eaten was wonderful.
