Super Marina. Great service department. The owner helps, drives the lift and ensures that everyone takes care of in time. Marina Store was the first price and had almost everything you can think in stock. Restaurant in the marina is a popular meeting place. Often busy and rarely a place at the bar, but there was always a table. We stopped because our Catalina 470 made funny sounds, so we pulled the boat and cleaned the hull. Many Barnacles and she needed it. I write this on the way, and the sound is better, but my mechanic is planning to make dripless pot can hopefully complete. But the ground inspection and cleaning was worth it. There is not much full service marinas for larger boats I have seen in this area. And the high water makes it harder to find what you need on Ontario. But this area in the Genesese River was a boating hub and Shumway was the best marina, as far as I can say! There is also a Strip-Mall with grocery stores, liqueur, pharmacy and Chinese or pizza delivery directly opposite the street of Shumway Marine. If you stop, make sure you say hello to Linus and Lucy the black and golden labs that run the place. Very friendly dogs and a wonderful marina! We enjoyed a long 8 days over July 4 on our sailing from Florida to Wisconsin on Dragon's Lair a Catalina 470! updating; loose dripless stuffing is gone! And I dreamt of it all night before (although in my dream the boat filled with water from dripless stuff)
