I really enjoyed the vegan pepperoni New York-style pizza and the vegan arancini.

I had a wonderful experience at Peels on Wheels! We ordered the vegan pepperoni pizza and the vegan arancini, both of which were absolutely delicious. My partner, who is not vegan, loved everything we had; he said he enjoyed the food just as much as the non-vegan versions! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I'm looking forward to trying more of their offerings! Updated from my previous review on June 13, 2022.

I ordered the vegan arancini and the Detroit-style pizza (available only on Wednesdays). Both dishes were delicious, very rich, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. When I picked up my order, the owner personally greeted me as a first-time customer. He was open to any feedback I might have, whether it was positive or negative, and even gave me his business card to reach out via email if I preferred. You can really see his eagerness to improve his business, and he clearly takes pride in his work. While it is a bit on the pricey side, it is definitely worth trying.

Peels on Wheels makes some of the best vegan pizza I’ve ever had. They use the highest quality vegan ingredients and their crust is always cooked to perfection. I love their creative vegan speciality pizzas. It’s been great seeing them partner with the local vegan shop Grassfed and use their vegan ‘meats’ on the pizzas. Such a gem to have in the Beechwood neighborhood! The pizza can be a bit pricey with the vegan upcharge but honestly it’s 100% worth it. They also offer gluten free crust with 24 hours notice.

In my solid opinion, this is the best pizza I've had anywhere! The cheese is absolutely amazing (melts fully and even crisps on the edges! The vegan pepperoni is equally amazing in both flavor and texture! Although there is an up charge (just $1 for vegan cheese and $3 for vegan pepperoni, I assure you that its 1000% worth it! I highly recommend the Detroit style crust (deep dish, slightly angled edge, and the crust is absolutely loaded with flavor! I'm really looking forward to more pizza from here soon and I can't wait to try the vegan arancini! Luis Perez is always so kind and has a clear, true passion for his work! He is very conscious of providing excellent vegan options, as his wife is vegan!
