Paneveino - Rochester

The food was delicious, the ambiance was lovely, and the server was kind and attentive. However, I am only giving this restaurant a 3 out of 5 stars due to the poor service we received before our meal. I had called ahead to make reservations, but upon arrival, the hostess informed us that our table had been given away because we supposedly missed our reservation. She mentioned trying to call and leaving a voicemail, placing the blame on us. I explained that the reservation time was written incorrectly by the person I spoke to on the phone. Despite this, the hostess insisted that it was our fault for not receiving the message, which turned out to have been left on the wrong phone number. She did not apologize, but promptly seated us. Everything else about the experience was wonderful, but because of this incident, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant to others.

I absolutely adore Pane Vino! They have two locations, but this one is my favorite by far. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for a romantic evening or special celebration. We held our Rehearsal Dinner here and the staff went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. They even created personalized menus for us with our wedding date and a sweet message, which was a lovely touch. They also helped us arrange drink tickets for our guests, covering the cost of their first two drinks. I would definitely consider hosting another event at this wonderful restaurant and working with their amazing team again. Some menu favorites include the Chicken French (a local favorite!), Eggplant Parmesan, and Linguine with Clam Sauce, but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything you choose!

The food at this restaurant is outstanding and I highly recommend it for a fun date night! The atmosphere is super cute and romantic, with a beautiful view of the river.

Are they open again? Last three times I called they were still closed. Water main break, COVID, call first !

Food was good but too pricey. Low light classy atmosphere. Nice place for a special date.
