The pot pies here at Newbury Park Pastries have some kind of magical potion or something that put them on a whole new level. Every time I have a pot pie from someplace else (even a place that specializes in them! I'm instantly reminded that I shouldn'teven bother, because nothing will ever be as good as what Kate is making here. I first discovered Newbury at a food tastingevent with 20 different stations featuring local chefs, and Newbury was the only one I wanted to keep returning to for seconds,and thirds and fourths. If you live in the area and haven't stopped in here for anything, you're entirely missing out.

Fresh delicious treats! I love to support local businesses and Newbury Park Pastries is an excellent source for fresh desserts and hearty pot pies to pop in my oven for a no-mess homemade dinner. You must check out this local treasure! It will be yournew go-to for a fresh yummy meal... and dessert!

Walking down the aisle in the frozen section, and almost did a double take. Panang pot pie?? Panang is my favorite curry so I absolutely had to grab one give it a try. We changed our dinner plans for the evening made the pie instead. And it was fantastic!!Seriously, even with the first bite I knew we were in trouble. The pie crust is so flaky, buttery, and delicious. And the panang sauce pairs incredibly well with the crust. The pie was full to the brim with wonderful, well spiced curry vegetables. Not a single thing to complain about except maybe that we only bought the small one ?Highly recommend giving some of these pies a try if you see them. I think they're going to make a fairly regular appearance in our home!

Absolutely amazing pot pies! There are several flavors that are available every week, and then a specialty flavor that changes weekly. I've had the chicken, panang, shepherd's pie, pulled pork, Thanksgiving, bacon double cheeseburger, chicken and biscuits, and lobster mac and cheese. I could absolutely not pick a favorite, they're all delicious. We also can't leave without cookies, rugelach and the strawberry rhubarb pie (my favorite). Dinner and dessert in one stop! My favorite part of getting these is bringing our pies home and cooking them at home. There's something fabulous about having all of the delicious smells in our house as though I spent hours cooking, but it's really a take out experience. I can't recommend them enough! They know what they're doing and your tastebuds will agree with me!
