Mojoes Chicken - Rochester

Mediocre at best .. I wanted to try them and support local. The sore is really dingy.. whoever was working, didn’t greet anybody coming in to order.. French fries were unsalted, chicken tenders were small, and seemed basically out of a bag and dropped in a deep fryer.. they have almost no selection for soda which, even though the menu did not specify, I was restricted to cans instead of bottles (there is 1 offbrand option and a diet cola). But the real kicker for me was the fact that they do not give you any dip for your chicken tenders, and then have the audacity to charge one dollar for one measly side of ranch… three out of five stars will not return.No Sauce?! I’m mean lemme get 1 at least.. sheish !! That being said , the food tasted pretty good .

I ordered a pizza for pickup and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived, the door was locked, even though the lights were on and the open sign was lit. I knocked and called multiple times with no response. I could see the staff member inside preparing my pizza, which he should have done 20 minutes earlier. Eventually, he noticed me and said it would be ready in "1 minute," but I had just seen him start making it. At the very least, they could have called to inform me about the delay. Instead, I think I'll just go to Domino's, where I can get two medium pizzas and garlic bread for the same price, with a 30-minute guarantee. Best of luck selling a single large pizza before closing time!

The pizza was overcooked, almost burnt. The deliverer was announcing my private business in public. The man was not very intelligent and lacked any common sense or discretion.Food: 1/5

This restaurant has a typical vibe of an Arab-run establishment. Unlike their other location, I appreciated that the owner informed me that the pepperoni is beef but not halal. At the Chili Ave location, they simply state that “everything’s halal!” The pizza was decent, although the dough was a bit chewy. The wings were a little tough as well; they should be made fresh, but it seems they’re served from under a heat lamp. I did notice the owner gave some food to a homeless person who came by, which I thought was commendable. However, I probably won’t return, as the overall appearance of the place lacked care, which reflects poorly on us. “Cleanliness is part of faith.”
