Ldr Charpit - Rochester

LDR is an iconic burger joint that we've been visiting for 40 years. I usually order the steak sandwich (with toppings) while my wife prefers a hamburger. We always share an order of the house-made onion rings and fries. We absolutely love this place!

This quaint, cozy diner has a charming vintage decor. The breakfast is consistently excellent, and the coffee is top-notch. The service is fantastic too. While they prefer customers to place their orders at the counter, they’re still happy to come to your table if you prefer.

I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant, and I have been coming here since 2013 (I moved away but am now back for a travel assignment). They recently changed their hours, so we arrived just in time before they closed at 3 PM on Sunday. My husband, who was visiting for the first time, loved it. The view of the water is fantastic, and the atmosphere is very friendly. I really enjoy their homemade chili sauce and the seasoning they offer for their dishes. This place has never let me down, and the prices are reasonable considering the portion sizes.

The personal is friendly and prompt. I like the antidote. they can observe how to eat directly before them. the place is old, but has character. eating is good and fresh. I really like the fried egg sandwiches. my coke was right, not watery or syrup. the riders are always right. the prices are very reasonable. this is one of these places to visit for a delicious bite and refreshing drink after visiting the beach or going the pier.

I come form Florida to visit, and that one of the first places I go! I love the hot-sauce! I hope they do an update on the inside a bit, its pretty dated, but the staff is efficient and the food quality is great. Its also very nice to put as many pickles on your late as you wish! I have gone there for 30 years.
