You can tell it's going to be a long night when the server approaches your table and says, "Just so you know, the kitchen is at least an hour behind." While it wasn't ideal for us, we tried to make the best of it and enjoy each other's company. At least we were informed about the delays. We noticed three to five groups leaving the restaurant during our wait. To top it off, the appetizer I ordered was unavailable, and so was my dinner choice. These are certainly minor inconveniences, but they didn't contribute to a very enjoyable experience at the restaurant.

We had a reservation for 5:30, but when we arrived, they informed us that the only option available was a high table at the bar. The music was excessively loud, and we were seated near the windows, which made it quite cold. The bruschetta wrap and beet salad were just mediocre. One of our party members ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and fries, but when it arrived, both sides of the sandwich were charred black. Even the server seemed surprised when he set it down. It came with just ten fries, which she ate while waiting for a replacement sandwich that still turned out to be overdone, served on a small plate with no additional fries. Although she finally received the fries she ordered, I felt that the entire plate should have been replaced since the sandwich was already incorrect when it was delivered. Additionally, others in our group experienced delays with their orders as well. Not once did anyone come to apologize or acknowledge the situation. Overall, it was a disappointing meal with subpar service.

The pretzel bites were overcooked, and the artichoke dip was full of solid chunks instead of being a smooth blend. However, the drinks were quite good.

Very quiet night. a server was busy with the four tables, one occupied with a party of 8. she was friendly and remained despite the challenge of the staff.

Xmas Eve tradition always great. Server super. One order too rare.
