Tacos Rojas - Roanoke

Oh my goodness. I've lived a half mile from here and just went in with friends to try it out. It was fantastic. The guacamole was amazingly fresh and tasted amazing. The chicken enchiladas and beef enchiladas are wonderful. Even the refried beans were quite tasty. The quesadilla was overflowing with steak. The Taco Rojas was not only great but was presented beautifully. The arroz con pollo was so good, our two friends ate all of theirs after they said they were going to take half of it home. Amazing drink selection. Don't think twice about going. The service was great as well, making it quite an enjoyable experience. Very authentic.

Sign says it all, they are authentic. Tacos here taste just like the ones I had in Mexico! After dinner, try the flan… it is excellent. Cuidado- their salsa is muy caliente, so make sure to have a cold beverage! Delicious taco salads, tacos, enchiladas…

Never disappointed. Reminds me of Washington states homemade Mexican food

I just moved from Richmond and Tacos Rojas came highly recommended. Now I can join the people making the same recommendation! I had three carnitas tacos and they were just incredible. The salsas that came with were flavorful and had just the right amount of kick! My partner had the barilla torta and that was probably the most delicious thing I have ever tasted. It was a HUGE sandwich- meat was tender and so nicely seasoned.Service was very friendly and fast. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu.

I was simply pulled into the opposite, and I had not expected that really good Mexican food proved wrong. we ordered a Cubano sandwich, three mixed tacos (asado, birria.,
