Mcalister's Deli - Roanoke

This was the first time that I have actually dined in here although they've catered us at work plenty of times. The food is great. Always fresh and always a lot! Dined in this time. You have the option of ordering at the counter or ordering by app at your table and someone will bring it to you. It's tucked away in a small shopping strip mall. Good parking. Nice and quiet area. I highly recommend if you want a casual, quiet place with great food. UPDATE 10/15/21. Had dinner here again. My son's first time. We had a wonderful, fresh, healthy dinner. Lots of options, including my favorite, 1/2 sandwich with bowl of soup. If you're in the area, definitely give them a try.

I love McAlister?s Deli and normally dine at waynesboro,va location. I happened to be in Roanoke traveling for work and decided to order some dinner. No mistake. The quality of meal here was sub par. This was my tomato cucumber salad I was given. The pic on left was what I was given and pic on right is what the item normally looks like. I have noticed the quality of food when you order out has significantly declined. It?s very unfortunate. I will also say they were not busy at all when I ordered this meal in the restaurant. Place was empty. Do better McAlister?s.

I got a wrap potato salad both were excellent!! Great customer service!!

Food tasted good, table side ordering is very nice. I think my sandwich meat was inadvertently switched from corned beef to ham. I enjoyed it but i have a bad reaction to eating pork and didn't catch until later.

The wait was long. We enjoyed the raspberry pecan salad and the steamed broccoli. The French dip was bland and brownie/cookie desert was okay. Our order set in the window for a couple of minutes before being bagged to carry out.
