Jersey Mike's Subs - Roanoke

Cheese steak is below average I lived in Jersey and Philly. People need to stop saying famous Philly cheese steak cause this Jawn is trash. They didn't even chop it up the way it suppose to ???????? y'all need Amoroso Rolls and the cheese wasn't blended in the steak.

Great subs. My wife has been a customer since Mike founded the business in Pt. Pleasant. The #5 is the best.

The lady who assisted in slicing the fresh deli meat was fantastic, she helped me navigate my first experience at Jersey Mike's. She was quick and efficient, outpacing the other 3 male employees. Unfortunately, the man who added the toppings to my sandwiches was incredibly slow, causing a delay in service. Additionally, he forgot to include bacon on my friend's sandwich. The total cost for two 6-inch subs, one wrap, and a bag of chips was $29, which is pricier than Subway but the sandwiches had ample meat. I would recommend ordering a 4-inch sub if available on my next visit. The sandwiches were large and satisfying, particularly the Super Sub with added turkey. Overall, the food was enjoyable but nothing extraordinary.

This is the first Jersey Mike's I have tried. I have been twice. The first time I ordered in store. The medium big kahuna philly was good, but small for $10 and it took 13 minutes to get. The second time I ordered, I used the website and placed an order for a medium club sub with special instructions to have it toasted or heated. I ordered 10 minutes before arriving. When I got there, it was not on the take out rack, so I sat down. A few minutes later a gentleman asked what I ordered and if it was online. I said I ordered a club sub online and asked for it to be heated. He looked around for a minute, found a ticket that had apparently been misplaced, he apologized and said it would be ready in a minute. A few minutes later he said here ya go and apologized again for the wait, which from my online email confirmation to getting the sub was 18 minutes. I got back to my office and the sub wasn't heated or toasted and like the philly, is small for the price. The employees are nice and friendly, but it's hard to justify 13 to 18 minutes of a 30 minute lunch break to get a single sub, especially when ordering ahead of time.

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious, with dishes that are always fresh and served hot. However, some of the staff members, not all, are not very friendly and appear indifferent when it comes to handling payment for your meals.
