China Star Chinese - Roanoke

The Spare Ribs are the best in Roanoke! If you are from Up North and looking for authentic Chinese, then this is the place. I just wish they had them without bones. “also sought for extra ribbed sauce on the ribs”.

Huge portions, delicious food, great prices. This is our new way to take fried sugar chicken. Super easy access to the food lion parking. I spent like $40 and probably got 10 pounds of hot food in less than 20 minutes. They even ask for spice levels on certain dishes. Great!

I love her food, and you'll get a big crowd. Simply put it so, the portions are very large and freshly made. The staff is very friendly, and they serve with a smile. We've been there for over 20 years, and I miss eating inside, but because of Covid-19 security comes first.

Had a great meal at China Star. Food had an excellent taste and the shrimps were very large and plentiful. Great food!

This restaurant has been a staple in Roanoke for many years. I've enjoyed over 100 meals here in the past two decades, and I've never been let down. Be sure to try the hot and sour soup—it's fantastic. Everything here is exceptional, in fact!
