Chick-fil-A - Roanoke

Always hot and fresh food. Friendly staff.  They spend money to keep hot food hot with the sandwich wrapper. The soup selection is pretty good - still commercially inspired but not completely full of sodium.  I hate that they discontinued the walnut brownie for the cookie because of allergies. While the cookie is good, the brownie was the bomb. They now have grilled nuggets, and I am not a huge fan of those. I like the grilled sandwich, but the nuggets just don't have the same flavor. Fries always come out hot. Fruit cup is a nice refreshing alternative to ice cream or chocolate chip cookie.  The downside is that they DO NOT have drive thru service at this location, and many neighboring chains do. When time is a factor I have to go elsewhere. They are in the mall, AND on the second floor. Typically when I have a taste for CFA I will plan to stop by the others in the area that have a Drive Thru. Rarely do I shop at Tanglewood Mall so I would not likely be there on a whim.

We always love eating at Chick-fil-A but today I want to shout out to India, our cashier.
