Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - Roanoke

Came in on a whim, not expecting much, but wanted something different than the same places I frequent. I am so glad I did. The food was fantastic. Way above expectations. It felt like I was eating my grandmother's food. The broccoli casserole was phenomenal, as well as the red beans and rice. But the highlight was the corn meal breaded white fish. I haven't had fish like that in years. And the portions were like grandma too!!! Left out of there super satisfied and with leftovers....Also, like grandma's....Needless to say I love the place

I wish they had one in lynchburg because I would definitely eat there alot with my family

Great service. The food was good and cooked well. Our waitress was very attentive. I can't wait to go back.

Today my wife and I ate at Cheddar’s in celebration of her birthday. We have always enjoyed eating here in the past but today’s experience was sadly disappointing. My wife ordered the Key West Shrimp and Chicken dinner . The sauce on the chicken was so spicy that she could not eat it. Her shrimp was overcooked. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Tenders Salad, which I’ve had numerous times. Today’s serving was as bland as a salad could be. A little lettuce with a few carrot strips tossed on. The crispy chicken was so crispy that I could not eat it. Cooked well beyond crispy. I can say that we both left highly disappointed with this outing . It will likely be a while before we choose to venture back.
