Place is too small , they’ve put in a lot of tables and chairs for the space that it tends to get crowded . foods are very cheap , but doesn’t taste that good. the noodles on their ramen doesn’t seem like authentic japanese noodles.
If you are looking for affordable Japanese food you can find it here. Good value for your money. Expect to get what you pay for. But don't bother to order gyoza it will be a waste of money.
Yasu in rob place. i was strolling along the area looking for some place to eat while i'm alone. Then I saw Yasu, a very small place with only 14 tables, 1 cashier, 2 servers, 2 chefs. 2 staff is on break i think and is occupying 2 front seats with their friends. Anyway, the price is very affordable for a japanese food, the service is efficient and the chefs are very quick. I ordered for steamed gyoza 99, chicken teriyasudon with egg 149, miso soup and red iced tea is 55. Total 303. Very cheap. The portion is actually good for 2 already. I wasn't able to finish my food so I have it wrapped as well. The gyoza is fine but it is supposed to be steamed first and then fried, the taste is fine but the meat inside is very few. Chicken teriyasudon was good, not excellent only good, it is like fried chicken balls with teriyaki sauce and mayo, a little bit of cabbage inside as well. The miso soup taste delicious but doesnt have tofu in it. The red iced tea was good. Overall food taste was fine, maybe 3-3.5, but because of the price it is fair enough. It might be very small, i came alone and was the only one eating there bur after a couple of minutes it was already full. All servers are very busy now. I gave them 4 because my server was really attentive and polite. Very quick and attended to all my needs. Kudos to u girl. I might return to try the ramen so see u nxt time.
The place is small but full of people. I thought this is another japanese resto where you spend and not really taste a hint of japanese food, but i was surprised that their food was tasty. Of course ramen was not good. I liked the tonkatsu sauce, the meat itself although a little disappointing with the breading was also tasty. The miso soup was okay although was served not super hot as we'd like.
