The French Baker - Riyadh

This review is for French Baker Robinson’s Otis branch. Servers not very attentive. Its 3pm on a Saturday afternoon and no one was manning the dining area. There were two crews on break on one of the tables who did not even care that there were new customers waiting and did not even bother to call the folks on duty. LOL! We had to look for the crew just to ask for the menu and the folks on duty weren’t even doing anything. I am not sure if the branch is undermanned, has governance/management issue or plainly mismanaged.

I dropped by here last weekend to fetch a bag of pre-made garlic toasts for a home recipe that calls for one. They were good! Though the place seem outdated, this branch has always been a reliable shop for after-doing-the-grocery kind fo grub, or for all type of bread needs.

Pork chop and chicken teriyaki taste great. French Baker restaurant is located at the Mall of Asia.

Spaghetti Bolognese was colored white because the chef claim they use milk, there was not even a hint of tomato sauce!!! The service has to be improved. There never was a foodserver present for additional requirements, they are never around, nobody is minding the restaurant area at anytime!!! If it doesn't improve, you are better off without the restaurant in this outlet.

I'm really not a fan of French baker, I only like their pastries. We just eat here if we're sawa na with the other restaurants here in Rob otis since it is near our work place.
